It is the Grand Croix Des Ordre National Du Niger awarded only to persons of matchless exemplary qualities and
heroic performances in the country.The gesture was part of the events when President Buhari hosted Issoufou at
the Presidential Villa, Abuja on Tuesday.Referring to Issoufou as an illustrious leader, Buhari hailed Issoufou
for the successful completion of his second tenure and winning the prestigious 2020 Mo Ibrahim prize for Achievement in African Leadership.
Nigeria’s number one citizen also showered encomiums on Issoufou for upholding democracy, improving the nation’s economy,
